Spinning acetyl cellulose

We electrospun acetyl cellulose (cellulose acetate) into nanofiber sheets.

The acetyl cellulose is used for a variety of applications such as photo films, paints, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) films, separation membranes (filters).  In addition, it attracts attentions as materials for water treatment from its hydrophilicity and bidegradablility.

By spinning acetyl cellulose into nanofibers it is expected to be used for much more applications.

利用静电纺丝法成功的纺制出了乙酸纤维素(醋酸纤维素)的纳米纤维。

乙酸纤维素被广泛应用于胶卷，涂料，衣料，液晶膜以及分离膜(过滤器）等领域。

最近由于其易溶于水并且具有生物分解性，所以在净水处理用膜材料方面也备受关注。

通过将乙酸纤维素纺制成纳米纤维，可以期待进一步扩大其使用范围。
